Assessment roll data and reporting

​​​​​Electronic assessment data                        

​Electronic assessment data is available in bulk in various computerized formats, and is produced by jurisdiction or on a province-wide basis. Data is available in the standard Data Advice format, which is provided free of charge to local governments, or can be customized to suit the needs of the customer, and is provided free of charge to local governments.

Data advice

Data Advice is designed to supply customers with the current assessment information via electronic data files. It is produced annually at Completed Roll (January), Revised Roll (April), and after each (monthly) Supplementary Roll cycle, where applicable. Updates to certain assessment data is available on a monthly or weekly basis.

Before downloading any Data Advice files, we recommend that you check the Bulletins for important messages related to service outages or other issues.

Custom reports

Custom Reports are specialized reports built to meet the unique business needs of our clients. Any of our products, including Data Advice, can be customized and run by keyfile, bulk mail code, or filtered by specific classification codes, or by property type in our database. Note, charges may be applied for Custom Reports.

Self-serve Reports

​Self-serve Reports is available 24 hours a day seven days a week and is as simple as 'point and click'. Currently available data includes roll years 2005 and onwards for assessment roll, residential inventory, non-market change, residential stratification, and a variety of roll comparison reports.

Before Local Government customers can access Self-serve Reports, they must have completed the following:

  • Obtained a business BCeID account​
  • Received confirmation that their access has been verified
