Screening lets us uncover what makes you awesome and how you could make a difference at BC Assessment. | Pre-employment AssessmentIn some competitions, qualified candidates are invited to take a pre-employment assessment or technical exercise. These challenges are all about showing off your skills in topics like analytical thinking, written communication, and computer programs. Best part? You can do these tests online! We also like to mix it up with phone interviews now and then, where we can get to know you better and ask some role-specific questions. It's our way of keeping things interesting!

| Interview
Candidates who advance will be invited to a behavioural interview to showcase your skills in job-related areas, highlighting our
competencies and
leadership behaviours. Depending on the role, there might even be an exciting presentation or technical challenge. Each candidate will be marked and ranked accordingly. We'll share more details later, but here's a fun teaser: we're all about the
STAR approach and have some awesome
tips lined up for you! Best of all, these interviews are usually done virtually for added ease and comfort!

| Reference & Background ChecksOnce we've narrowed it down to our top candidate(s), we wrap things up with two reference checks from your current and/or former supervisors to see how you've shined in the past. Plus, there's a quick online background check through BackCheck. Once the references and background checks are complete, get ready because we’re about to make you an offer you won’t want to refuse!

| Job Offer
Hang in there, it might seem like a bit of a journey, but we promise it's all worth the wait! You'll receive an offer letter in our system with all the information you need and a few other documents to check out. Once you've signed, your new supervisor will reach out to get you ready for your exciting first day!
